Fathers' Club Dues Program
Each year we as fathers make a financial commitment to the school in the form of the Fathers Club annual dues. Our dues help to supplement additional needs of the teachers and students not covered by the tuition, including:
- Financial support of the teachers (in the form of an annual Christmas gift)
- Needed classroom equipment, supplies, and renovations
- Sports and other extra-curricular programs
In the previous academic year, the Fathers Club provided the school and its teachers with approximately $100,000 in supplemental funds. In addition to these gifts, the Fathers Club funded and operated numerous school events, such as the Christmas party for parents of the school, the Pancake Breakfast, the Golf Tournament and Hoopathon.
I am sending this letter to every father and I am hopeful that each one of you will respond. The school does need the money, and this year I ask you to choose as high a level of monetary support as your family can afford.
I would like to set a target of $500 per father for dues collections. This will provide the resources to meet the objectives of the Fathers Club this year.
As you know, the tuition at St. Martin’s is a fraction of the cost of similar private schools in our neighborhood, and we have a great tradition of excellence in and out of the classroom that is comparable to these other local private schools. Our dues in part make this possible.
No matter what the amount, however, we need your participation at a minimum in order to attain our goal of 100% support of the school. I, along with the other members of the Fathers Club Board, give you the assurance that the funds we raise in this program will be spent effectively for the benefit of our children.
Your annual dues statement is enclosed.
Sincerely,

Jeff Daly
Fathers Club President
